YBDBD: A Token-Driven On-Chain Community Experiment

YBDBD is a token-driven community-based chain game project that builds an open ecological experimental field centered on players through a task system, collaboration mechanism, and community governance.

The community positioning and structure of YBDBD

While most GameFi projects are still controlled by teams in terms of core direction, YBDBD has chosen “player co-construction” as its design core from the very beginning. All modules in the project, including resource output, reward distribution, and gameplay proposals, will ultimately transition to a community-led governance model.

The community structure of YBDBD is divided into three layers:

  • Active player level: Participate in daily gameplay and activities to earn basic Token rewards;
  • Contribution Layer: Enhance community engagement through content creation, design proposals, and operational assistance;
  • Governance Decision-Making Layer: Participate in the formulation of project development direction through staking and voting mechanisms.

This hierarchical structure not only ensures basic activity but also provides more room for rights for deeply engaged participants.

The design logic behind the incentive mechanism

The token mechanism of YBDBD is not only used for in-game consumption but also serves the incentive function for community operation. The project reserves 20% of the tokens for community contribution incentives, covering the following scenarios:

  • Content output: including videos, articles, and guides;
  • Social Dissemination: Expand user base through invitation mechanism;
  • Activity execution: Participate in or lead official tasks, competitions, and other projects.

Each incentive is transparently allocated based on actual contributions and supervised by governance mechanisms to ensure that resources do not concentrate in the hands of a few individuals.

Task System and Contribution Value

In order to lower the barriers for the community, YBDBD has designed a multi-level task system, allowing users to freely choose their participation path based on their interests and abilities:

  • Daily tasks: Complete basic in-game actions such as building, trading, and battling.
  • Periodic tasks: Participate in community activities, submit proposals, engage in discussions;
  • Reward Task: Time-limited themed challenges or competitions to incentivize users to engage deeply.

The project evaluates user contribution values through the completion of tasks, thereby providing Token rewards and establishing a direct link between behavior and value.

How the community can participate in governance and co-construction

The ultimate goal of YBDBD is DAO governance, where users obtain voting rights by staking YBDBD and participate in important project decisions. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Direction of ecological fund usage;
  • New feature launch order;
  • Cooperative project selection criteria;
  • Adjustment of market operation strategy.

This mechanism allows projects to maintain operational efficiency on a decentralized basis while also enhancing users’ sense of belonging and willingness to hold long-term.

The experimental significance behind the project

YBDBD is not technically complex, but it provides a replicable community experiment model. It demonstrates that community self-growth can be promoted through incentive design and transparent governance without the need for a large financing background or complex governance systems.

YBDBD is not just a commercial attempt, but a exploration of ideas — whether it can truly build a Web3 project that is co-created, co-governed, and co-win by users. If successful, it will provide a reference path template for more startup projects.
