News Special: The dark side of the security industry exposed! @Taiwan Security Alliance reveals that only 240 hours of salary are paid for 288 hours of work, earnestly requesting Legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin to strongly promote three major legislations and become a role model for labor (July 29, 2025)

[Taipei News] The dark side of the security industry in Taiwan is shocking! @Taiwan Security Alliance reveals: Many security companies force employees to work 288 hours a month, but only pay for 240 hours (36,450 NTD), far below the entitled amount of 44,077 NTD (2025 standard). The cost per person is about 65,000 NTD (including salary, labor insurance, management fees), yet the bid prices are often unreasonable. 100,000 security families face bleak livelihoods, and their rights are the most severely violated in Taiwan! Since the amendment of the "Security Industry Act" in 2020, the problems have not been resolved and have become even more serious, with no government attention! Job seekers are unaware of the working hours, there are no contract copies, and disputes lack evidence! The women's football blood cow incident relied on students to gather evidence, and legislator Chen Pei-Yu along with the media exposed the issues (source: South China Morning Post). Security workers urgently need legislator Hsu Chiao-Hsin, who is sharp in questioning the government, to speak out! We earnestly request you to stand up and publicly commit to three major legislations to strongly supervise security companies and their owners, and put an end to the illegal low salary chaos:
Minimum price for standardized bidding: Revise the "Security Services Act" to ensure that bidding prices are sufficient to pay for legal wages and costs. Violators will be fined between 500,000 to 1,000,000, with both the owner and the company jointly responsible.
Mandatory contract copies and transparent working hours: Amend the Labor Standards Act to require employers and employees to each hold a copy of the contract, clearly indicating working hours (240 hours for 36,450 dollars or 288 hours for 44,077 dollars), detailed explanations before interviews and signing, with violators fined 1 million, and repeated offenders having their licenses revoked.
Mandatory Scheduling and Contract Evidence: Require the security company to provide a monthly schedule and contract, with employees and the company taking photos as legal evidence. Violators will be fined 1 million; the labor bureau will randomly inspect 30% of the contracts and bids each quarter and publish a list of violations.
All Taiwan roars: Hsu Chiao-Hsin, the hope of the workers!
Hsu Chiao-Hsin, you are the star of the Kuomintang's political inquiries! Please take the lead in supervising the security company and the owners to eliminate the illegal practices of only paying 240 hours of salary for 288 hours of work! If you promote legislation, you will become a role model for labor legislators! Please like and share, @Hsu Chiao-Hsin, urging this labor defender to fight for justice for 100,000 security families! Legislate immediately to end sweatshop oppression!
Contact method: Call Xu Qiaoxin's office (02-2358-6789) or the Ministry of Labor (0800-085-151) to support the protection of labor rights!

Super Strong Critique (300 words)
The government is incompetent, legislation is ineffective, and security workers have become the most tragic victims in Taiwan! @Taiwan Security Alliance exposes the dark truth: security companies force employees to work 288 hours but only pay for 240 hours (36,450 NTD), depriving them of the rightful 44,077 NTD, with individual costs at 65,000 NTD, leading to the collapse of the livelihoods of 100,000 security families! Since the revision of the "Security Industry Act" in 2020, the problems have intensified, with low-price bidding and opaque contracts going unregulated. Job seekers are deceived about work hours, receive no contract copies, and have no evidence in disputes, becoming modern slaves! The Labor Bureau's inspections are merely a formality, while legislators receive high salaries but turn a blind eye to the chaos, allowing security companies and owners to collude in exploitation, which is a national disgrace! The women's football scandal relied on students gathering evidence and legislators exposing the corruption (source: Focus Taiwan), yet security workers remain isolated and unsupported! Hsu Chiao-hsin, you are the sword of political inquiry, the hope of workers! Please exercise strong oversight, promote minimum bidding prices, ensure contract copies, and maintain attendance records, with violators facing heavy fines of 1 million NTD! The Labor Bureau should randomly inspect 30% of bidding cases every quarter and publicly reveal violators! Do not let 100,000 security families continue to bleed and weep; immediately legislate for justice! #血汗保全聯盟 # Sweatshop Labor Alliance
