Crypto funds attracted $2.7 billion over the week

From June 21 to 27, inflows into cryptocurrency funds amounted to $2.7 billion. The capital inflow into the structures continued for the eleventh consecutive week, according to the CoinShares report.

Data: CoinShares. Since the beginning of the year, funds have attracted a total of $17.8 billion, approaching last year's figure of $18.3 billion at the end of June. The total volume of assets in the instruments reached $184.4 billion.

"We believe that this sustained demand from investors was driven by a combination of factors, primarily increased geopolitical volatility and uncertainty regarding the direction of monetary policy," noted CoinShares' head of research James Butterfill.

Over the week, the main beneficiary of the inflow was bitcoin products, which accounted for $2.2 billion — 83% of the total figure.

Data: CoinShares. $429 million has flowed into Ethereum-based instruments. Since the beginning of the year, these funds have attracted $2.9 billion. In comparison, the amount for Solana is only $91 million.

The weekly inflow was dominated by the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF with $1.5 billion. This year, investors have poured $17 billion into iShares.

Data: CoinShares.At the regional level, inflows for the week were almost entirely driven by products registered in the USA — $2.65 billion. Funds from Switzerland and Germany made modest contributions of $23 million and $19.8 million, respectively.

In Canada, Sweden, and Brazil, there has been a slight outflow from products, while in Hong Kong, it has already exceeded $132 million since the beginning of the year.
